Import License for Fish and Seafood Products(Commercial)
Description:
This license allows the commercial import of seafood for amounts over one hundred (100) pounds.

must be submitted to the Ministry of Commerce, Business Development, Investment and Consumer Affairs

from the Ministry of Commerce, must be submitted to the Fisheries department of the Ministry of Agriculture together with the purchase order/Performa Invoice which clearly states the name and address of the proposed supplier as well as the anticipated date of arrival of the shipment
If the seafood is approved for import, the applicant will be notified and the license fee must be paid according to the weight of the shipment (provided in the Ministry of Agriculture License Fee Structure document.
The applicant takes the approved form to Veterinary services (Ministry of Agriculture). This department is responsible for inspecting the shipment once it arrives at port. The form will be processed and returned to the applicant.
The applicant must take the approved form to the Ministry of Commerce for issuance of the Import License.
Requirements:
The license will not be approved if the seafood is available locally.
