Export Health Certificate
Description:
Before any animal is exported out of the country, the owner/exporter must find out the requirements and regulations for import from the importing country (refer to the link to the World Organisation for Animal Health website). If all conditions of the Import Permit of the destination country have been satisfied, the animal will be presented with an export health certificate.

Process:
The applicant contacts Veterinary Services to make an appointment for interview and inspection of the animal
If the animal satisfies the conditions for import of the importing country then an export health certificate will be issued on payment of the requisite fee..
Requirements:
The animal and its documents should accompany the owner on the appointment date for certification. The certification is usually done forty eight (48) hours prior to scheduled travel.
The animal(s) must accompany the owner to Veterinary Services for inspection
