The Department of Agriculture, Fisheries, Natural Resources and Co-operatives wishes to inform the public that the Veterinary and Livestock Services Division and the Plant Research and Development Division have moved from their respective Balata and Union locations to the National Agricultural Diagnostic Facility (NADF) located at Union (next to the Ministry of Infrastructure, Ports, Energy and Labour).

The National Diagnostic Facility will also house the Metrology Laboratory of the St Lucia Bureau of Standards (SLBS).

The NADF beyond the traditional services provided by these agencies will also provide scientific support and policy oriented research to the major sectors of the economy in the areas of Plant Health, Animal Health, and Metrology.

The Divisions remain dedicated to serving all stakeholders and partners with the highest degree of efficiency at our new location.
