THE MEETING FOCUSED ON CRIME PREVENTION AND REDUCTION STRATEGIES.
Parliamentary Representative for Gros Islet, Hon. Lenard Montoute, met with Gros Islet community members and the Gros Islet Police Sub Division, last week, at a “Policing My Community Forum.”
The forum focused on bringing residents of the community and the police together to discuss crime safety and prevention tips as well as to share the challenges and best practices that will help improve the community’s crime response.
“I am encouraged by the level of participation and feedback provided by those in attendance,” Minister Montoute said. “I remain committed to playing my part as Parliamentary Representative and as a resident to help reduce incidences of crime in our constituency.”
The forum was held on Jan. 22.
